We use a proprietary material developed by Daiichibo Co., Ltd., a world-renowned domestic synthetic fiber manufacturer, which is woven from long-fiber recycled nylon yarn without applying tension.
This material is BASIC yet substantial, with a soft bulkiness due to the use of bulky Taslan yarn in the warp, and a silky, natural luster from jet dyeing.
The raw material weight is only 44g/㎡, an astonishing lightness, yet its high durability symbolizes the technical prowess of Japanese manufacturers.
For the insulation, we collaborated with Zanter Co., Ltd., which provides down support to the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, and adopted top-quality Bulgarian Murad White Duck. This achieves both lightweight design and warmth exceeding 800 fill power, as well as remarkable loft.
To express the lightness and loft of the down, the design is finished with as few stitches as possible.
The down vest features an exceptionally relaxed silhouette. To achieve an oversized balance, shirring is added to the inside of the shoulder ends to slightly narrow the armholes, and the body silhouette is given a moderate barrel shape to suppress flipping at the hem.
The concealed zipper side pockets open wide, almost to the hem, and can accommodate an 11-inch iPad.
The pocket-in-pocket also opens and closes with a concealed zipper and is slashed at an angle optimized for easy hand access.
This generously sized down vest can be worn as an outer layer, or layered over a coat for a fresh and stylish accent.
Like other luggage series items, it is unisex and can be adjusted to your size.
